LSU Athletic Training Program to Host Informational Open House Sessions
The LSU School of Kinesiology Athletic Training department will host three informational Open House sessions to educate current and prospective students about the study of athletic training. Drs. Amanda Benson and Rebecca Hirschhorn will lead these sessions.
For freshmen and sophomore students, the department will host two in-person sessions regarding the Pre-Athletic Training program. These sessions will offer general information on the field and study of athletic training, career options available to athletic trainers, curriculum and classes for the Pre-Athletic Training program, and more. Session information is as follows:

Tues., September 13, 2022 - 3pm at 225 Peabody Hall (LSU campus)
- Weds., September 14, 2022 - 3:30pm at 1035 Cypress Hall (LSU campus) - this session is only for declared LSU Kinesiology majors

For students interested in the Athletic Training master's program (MSAT) at LSU, they can attend the virtual webinar on Thursday, September 15, 2022. This session will cover topics such as: MSAT application and admissions processes, LSU faculty and preceptors, and clinical hours, among other critical topics for admission to a graduate Athletic Training program. Specific session details as below:
