LSU Announces the Tiger Twelve Senior Recognition Class of 2024
LSU proudly announces the Tiger Twelve Senior Recognition Class of 2024. Class members were recognized at a ceremony on Saturday, April 27 held in the Capstone Gallery at Patrick F. Taylor Hall on the LSU campus.

- LSU Shatters Record for Largest Spring Graduating Class, Awards 4,949 Degrees During Spring Commencement CeremoniesLSU awarded 4,949 degrees during the university's 313th commencement exercises Friday, May 17, and Saturday, May 18. These new LSU alumni and their hometowns can be viewed on the LSU Graduates List on the LSU Commencement Website. The previous record was 4,563 in Spring 2022.
- 2024 LSU Leadership CohortLSU has recognized 16 students as the Class of 2024 for Leadership LSU, an annual program coordinated by LSU Campus Life. The cohort was honored at a closing lunch on April 25, where each participant received a Leadership LSU stole.
- LSU Awards 26 Seniors the Engaged Citizen MedalThe Center for Community Engagement, Learning, and Leadership (CCELL), in conjunction with LSU Campus Life, is pleased to announce that 26 seniors will graduate with the Engaged Citizen distinction for Spring 2024. Students were recognized and awarded medals in a ceremony on Tuesday, May 14 on the LSU campus.
- Nineteen ROTC Cadets Commissioned as Part of LSU Spring Commencement ExercisesNineteen LSU graduates were recognized during LSU's spring commissioning ceremony on Thursday, May 16, in The Student Union Theater. Maj. General Edmond M. Brown, Chief of Staff at the United States Army Futures Command in Austin, Texas. served as the keynote speaker for the ceremony.
- Mekkah Husamadeen represents LSU Law, National Black Law Students Association on the global stage during service trip to GhanaHusamadeen was elected to serve as NBLSA Attorney General last summer and was among five members of the NBLSA Executive Board selected for the expedition, which took place just after the first of the year.
