Join Us for Geauxing the Distance with Kinesiology
The inaugural research symposium, Geauxing the Distance with Kinesiology, celebrates the newly renovated, cutting-edge laboratories and classrooms in the Huey P. Long Field House, home to the LSU School of Kinesiology. The two-day event will feature research seminars, laboratory tours, a poster session, and sessions to support doctoral students with their dissertation research projects.
BATON ROUGE - The LSU School of Kinesiology is hosting a scholarship-focused, research conference and open house to celebrate the restoration of the Huey P. Long Field House. This event highlights how the renovations to the Huey P. Long Field House are catalyzing school scholarship and research endeavors in support of the LSU Scholarship First Pentagon. The two-day event includes a student-led research poster session and research seminars by thought leaders in exercise physiology, motor behavior, pedagogy, and athletic training/sports sciences. We will also provide guided tours of the newly renovated laboratory and classroom spaces during this event.

The LSU School of Kinesiology (SOK) advances the understanding of physical activity, sport, and health to optimize the quality of life for diverse populations through excellence in teaching, learning, discovery, and engagement. SOK offers a BS, MS, Online MS, PhD, and two certificate options. About CHSE
The College of Human Sciences & Education (CHSE) is a nationally accredited division of Louisiana State University. The college is comprised of the School of Education, the School of Information Studies, the School of Kinesiology the School of Leadership & Human Resource Development, and the School of Social Work.
