9:00 - 12:00 p.m. Free Family 2-Hour Bike Rentals

UREC (enter via the East Entrance to access the Adventure Center)

Come with your Tiger to the UREC Adventure Center and receive a free 2-hour beach cruiser bike rental for your family. Student must present their Tiger Card. Bike availability and sizes are limited, and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. UREC Leisure River Access

UREC Leisure River

Come lounge in UREC's beautiful leisure river in the shape of LSU before you partake in gameday activities! Your LSU student must present their Tiger Card. Family members can join their student by purchasing a $5 UREC guest pass. Family Association members can obtain up to two complimentary guest passes by showing their Family Association membership card at the main desk.

11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.Family Weekend Check-In

2nd Floor, Barnes & Noble at LSU Bookstore

Arriving on Saturday? Registered participants can visit the second floor of Barnes & Noble at LSU Bookstore to pick up your Family Weekend materials, including access badges, souvenirs, and t-shirts (if you pre-ordered them) prior to the Tailgate. Access badges will be required for entry into the Family Weekend Tailgate.

11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. On-Campus Living 101

The Housing Tour Center, Old President's House

Join LSU Residential Life for a sneak peek of living on campus as an upperclassman! Chat with our staff about the application process and on-campus upperclassmen living options; take a virtual tour of East Campus Apartments (ECA), West Campus Apartments (WCA), and Nicholson Gateway Apartments (NGW); and ask questions regarding your Tiger's current housing assignment. We'll also have a table set up in front of the Old President’s House with more information about upperclassmen housing, some giveaway items, and lawn games.

1:00 - 4:00 p.m. Family Weekend Tailgate

LSU Parade Ground

Tailgating is an LSU Tradition! Join us for the biggest tailgate on the Parade Ground with food, live music featuring the Beaucoop Boogie band, special appearances, inflatables, a photo booth, face painting, corn hole tournament, and more! Look for our white tents, Family Weekend flags, and balloons. Even if you are not attending the football game, you are welcome to join the fun and attend the tailgate as long as you are pre-registered.

1:30 - 5:30 p.m. PMAC Fan Zone

Pete Maravich Assembly Center (PMAC)

The PMAC will be open to the public with live football games being shown on the video board throughout the day, access to restrooms, and a great place for you to take a break from the heat. The Tiger Band will perform in the PMAC after the Victory Hill Parade.

Begins at 2:00 p.m. Family Weekend Cornhole Tournament

LSU Parade Ground (next to the stage)

Only families registered for the Family Weekend tailgate are eligible to participate. Teams consist of two people. The winning family will be announced at 3:30 p.m., and the grand prize is a $100 gift card to Barnes & Noble at LSU. Stay tuned for more details!

Get ready to cheer on our Fighting Tigers as they take on the New Mexico Lobos on Saturday, September 24!

When should we arrive to campus?

Due to the heavy volume of people on campus on game day, it is not feasible to drive through campus. We encourage you to park and be prepared to walk everywhere. Arrive to campus as early as you can! The Family Weekend Tailgate will begin at 1:00 p.m. on the LSU Parade Ground.

Where do I get my football tickets?

All football tickets will be mobile and sent via email to the email address used for your purchase. If you have not received your football tickets via email yet, please check your junk/spam folder. You may also contact the LSU Athletic Ticket Office at 225-578-0100 or

When do the gates at Tiger Stadium open?

On Saturday, September 24, the gates will open at 4:30 p.m.

What gate should we enter?

View the Tiger Stadium seating chart with gate entry.

If your football tickets are in Family Weekend sections 232-242, enter via Gate 8. If your tickets are located in sections 630-643, enter via Gates 9-14. If your tickets are located in section 401-404, enter via Gate 22 or 23.

When does the Golden Band from Tigerland take the field for pre-game?

On Saturday, September 24, the band is scheduled to take the field at 6:15 p.m.

When is kickoff?

Kick-off on Saturday, September 24 is 6:32 p.m.
