Time: 6:00 - 7:30 pm
Location: 1123 Ballroom, Huey P Long Field House
Join LSU Lutrill & Pearl Payne School of Education CTP for exciting programing this fall!
We are thrilled to invite you to engage with critical conversations at Louisiana State University as part of our dynamic lecture series, "Podcasting Truth before Reconciliation." This thought-provoking event commemorates the ten-year milestone since Canada’s 94 Calls to Action, focusing on the crucial role of education in Truth before Reconciliation.
As a key part of the “Co-Curricular-Making” study, funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, this session will explore how education can foster ethical relationships, promote deep listening, and strengthen Indigenous connections to land and culture. Together, we’ll examine how education can either sustain colonial systems or drive decolonization and authentic change.
We look forward to seeing you there—bring your passion, your questions, and encourage your peers to join us for this vital conversation!
