Baton Rouge, LA -- Svensson's research focused on leaders of organizations operating in Africa, Asia, Oceania, Europe, North America, and South America seeking to contribute to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals through sport-based social change initiatives. Specifically, the award-winning research study utilized experimental methods to elicit how leaders of nonprofits and social enterprises make decisions among different organizational attributes related to resource mobilization. The results of the study have important implications for funders and policymakers to design more targeted and meaningful capacity-building initiatives to advance social impact and organizational sustainability.
