LSU's Conrad Offers Social Work Expertise to A Community Conversation on Domestic Violence Awareness

In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the City of Central C.A.R.E.S. (Community Awareness Resources Educational Support) presents a panel discussion on issues related to the prevention, intervention and prosecution of domestic violence.
Moderated by Rock It Right Radio Talk 107.3’s Betsy Barnes, the panel includes:
- Brandi Conrad, DSW, LCSW-BACS, assistant professor of professional practice at LSU School of Social Work
- Melanie S. Fields, assistant district attorney with the 19th Judicial District Court and
- John Price, executive director of the Capital Area Family Violence Intervention Center, also known as Iris Domestic Violence Center.
The event is free and open to the public.
