Ferguson and Madrid win LACA scholarships
The Louisiana Agricultural Consultants Association (LACA) awarded $2,000 scholarships and certificates of excellence to two LSU AgCenter Plant Pathology and Crop Physiology students during the organization’s annual conference, 17-19 February 2016. The two students were Ms. Mary Helen Ferguson, a Ph.D. student, who studies with Dr. Christopher Clark, Professor of Plant Pathology and Ms. Alejandra Jimenez Madrid, an M.S. student, who studies with Dr. Melanie Lewis Ivey, Assistant Professor of Plant Pathology. They were both recognized for their academic achievements and research performance in plant pathology.
