For Nashville native and PhD candidate in LSU's School of Leadership & Human Resource Development, Roman Mitchell, a scholarship provided the opportunity to attend the National Charter School Conference in his hometown where he participated in sessions concerning governance, non-profit management, facility development, and facility financing.
