Baton Rouge, LA - LSU School of Social work honors those faculty members that went the extra mile in making a significant and positive different this past year.

The 2019 Distinguished Research Award should be noted as the first tie in the school’s history, the winners being Cassandra Chaney and Scott Wilks. With Wilk’s win last year, this marks the second year that the School of Social Work has taken home the award.

The faculty is excited as they enter this new year of being able to educate students and help the Baton Rouge community at large.
