Welcome Week is the final phase of your orientation to LSU. This exciting event takes place right before the semester begins so that you can be completely comfortable and prepared to start your experience at LSU.

Attendance at Welcome Week August 15-22 is mandatory for all members of the Class of 2025, and we can’t wait to see you back on campus!

UREC
Come check out the UREC and all it has to offer! UREC looks forward to welcoming the LSU family back for an amazing semester. Join us Tuesday night from 8pm – midnight for FREE SHIRTS, FREE FOOD and a ton of fun. See everything that UREC has to offer. Participate in fun activities with our fitness demonstrations, pop up tournaments, inflatables and more. Grab your friends and check out our multiple photo booths or test your skills at esports. Try out our paddleboards and kayaks in our indoor pool or try your hand at crate stacking in our climbing area. Dance the night away with 2 DJ’s! Don’t forget your swimsuit as the kickoff party continues throughout the night on our outdoor pool deck.

93 S Quad Dr (Energy Coast and Environment Building, Visitor Parking Lot, off of W. Stadium Drive
Join College of the Coast and Environment faculty for a fun and informative ride from the Energy, Coast & Environment Building to Riverfront Plaza in downtown Baton Rouge. This ride will teach you how to safely ride a bicycle from LSU's Main Campus to the levee path and beyond. We will stop at locations of environmental interest along the way, including the Water Institute of the Gulf, wastewater treatment facilities, and more!
