“Most people are unaware of the strategies and logistics behind campaigns,” said Reilly Center Director Jenée Slocum, Ph.D. “This event provides a peek behind the curtains.”
In the days leading up to the election, Louisiana candidates worked to outsmart one another in order to secure the most votes. This event explores the fundamental strategies of each team, while providing information to viewers on the latest developments in campaign financing.
“This event is an excellent opportunity to connect the people of Louisiana with an interesting and crucial part of our election process,” said LPB President and CEO Clarence “C.C” Copeland.
Join the Reilly Center and partners to hear from campaign insiders who worked to support Governor-Elect Jeff Landry, alongside candidates Shawn Wilson, Stephen Waguespack and Hunter Lundy.
“We encourage everyone to attend this event, not only to learn about the behind-the-scenes strategies of this election, but also to become acquainted with individuals who played a role in making it possible,” said PAR President Steven Procopio, Ph.D.
The event is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023, in the Holliday Forum of the Manship School’s Journalism Building at 144 Field House Drive on the campus of Louisiana State University. Admission is free and open to the public, but you must reserve your seat via Eventbrite. The event will also be livestreamed on the Manship School’s YouTube channel.
